Giant Puffin in North Wales!

I couldn't resist taking these photos...

Puffin Café, Penmaenmawr, North Wales, used to be a Little Chef many years ago

The yellow effigy type thing was a wet floor sign used by the former the Little Chef staff

So named because of the view across the bay towards Puffin Island.

Shame about the lamp post and traffic monitoring camera blocking the view.

It is a great view, and the prices are reasonable as well.

The all day breakie uses locally farmed foods, and was very tasty.

Rare and elusive bird that one Mike:-)    Hadn't noticed it on passing, probably using the other road, Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan get bypassed now, shame as the views across the Straits are beautiful.

    Lot to learn

Its located on the westbound carriageway of the A55 after the Penmaenbach Tunnel, and before the Penmaenmawr roundabout, on the same site as the SHELL garage.

The café has been there almost from the opening of the A55, it was formerly a Little Chef.
