TJ, I agree with you about Gadwalls--absolutely beautiful birds. I remember where I first saw a pair--WWT Arundel just over 30 years ago.

@ Tony, this 1st winter bird was at Crosby Marina near Liverpool. A totally confiding young bird - at edge of the bank and too close most of the time !
