Scapa Flow in June. Any deeper runs the very real risk of hypothermia and acute tootsie malfunctions.!! :-)

Great photos everyone - including Paul's pins! Here's a couple from me
You can always rely on a Little egret for a great reflection!
and a rather beautiful fave of mine -a Mediterranean Gull

LOL .!!
Ok, perhaps not mighty Oaks, but sturdy Scots Pines at the very least.!! :-)
Not withstanding the sturdy Oaks, here's one from me taken yesterday.
Sorry no bird but just look at the lovely colours.
Lot to learn

Love a nice reflection pic! Here are a few of mine. Grey Herons:
Black-headed Gull prettifying itself.
Gadwall, similar!
Black-tailed Godwit.
Little Grebe.
Lapwing having a Narcissus moment (or a drink).
I think this was the same Lapwing. I decided to photograph just the reflection this time!
White-winged Black Tern.
And a weird one - not sure what I was trying to photograph here but in the corner of the frame I caught the (blurry) reflection of a Banded Demoiselle in flight.
