Well, more like the oyster catcher was mooning at me!
Then, within a minute or two, the following pics speak for themselves....
There'll be some oyster catcher eggs very soon.....

On hols in Lake Como - this was in the woods up in the mountains. I suspect it was embarrassed at being seen without being fully dressed - barely a tail feather visible.

Momma swallow sorting the brood out....
Well, I guess that was what was happening, she's been sitting there for ages, then after a while, seemed to start sorting things out in the nest. After 20 mins or so, both parents went on a feeding frenzy.
My guess, a totally uneducated guess, is the young hatched out while I was there, because the insects were plentiful and every so often, mom & dad would swap places until the point at which she started to sort the nest out..
