Old thread here: http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/chat/f/2542/t/22684.aspx
Because the original thread has, fittingly enough, 'gone bad', it's time for a new 'Bad pics' thread. Here, we celebrate the very worst of our wildlife photography. The subject matter is always brilliant, but the photos are very much not. If it's out of focus, chopped in half, frighteningly under- or over-exposed or terrible in some other way, it belongs here :)
Here's my first (first of many, no doubt) contribution to the new thread, a Goldcrest taken at Barnes yesterday. You need only minor incompetence to take a blurry photo, and the same to take a really under-exposed photo, but to do both in one go requires a special level of cackhandedness.

Well, I did see the Kingfisher this time which was outside our new apartment on the water garden but afraid it was too far away for decent shots. I'm wondering if Alan can come over and fix a KF perch a bit closer to our balcony LOL All you get are pics fit for the shredder !!
To show you the distance even with the 300mm and 1x4 extender ! believe me the KF is in the pic - perched on the edge of the pond lol
and it did catch a tiddler ...... here it is bashing it to death ...

Something ought to be in focus in there, don't you think?
Too much activity confusing the AF, but it did do a half decent job on the top middle take off....

Common Buzzard too distant for a decent photo but still nice to see it perched up (from our balcony)

Hi Seymour! I really love this thread - it´s funny - and sometimes the bird is even a little riddle - I see a very long tail and I don`t think it´s a Magpie... so I go for a LTT -Long-tailed Tit (?) All the best- Mart
