Old thread here: http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/chat/f/2542/t/22684.aspx
Because the original thread has, fittingly enough, 'gone bad', it's time for a new 'Bad pics' thread. Here, we celebrate the very worst of our wildlife photography. The subject matter is always brilliant, but the photos are very much not. If it's out of focus, chopped in half, frighteningly under- or over-exposed or terrible in some other way, it belongs here :)
Here's my first (first of many, no doubt) contribution to the new thread, a Goldcrest taken at Barnes yesterday. You need only minor incompetence to take a blurry photo, and the same to take a really under-exposed photo, but to do both in one go requires a special level of cackhandedness.

Blimey.......what on earth is it doing?
It has been a busy day for crows in our garden - we have had at least three visit our shed roof and they have been having a whale of a time chasing magpies and spooking wood pigeons.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
lol Clare, was doing a sand dance I think !! they are, as you know, so much fun to watch :)

Just for once I was ready for the take-off, but he didn't 'drop off' the building as usual and this was the result! It's a Peregrine Falcon by the way.

Good caption, Hazel. I think we must have another caption comp soon. Have you got any suitable pics?
@ Tony, I'll have to have a sort through the hard drive, would have been easier had I not deleted 18,000+ photos from my original flickr. account lol
I have got some decent ones as well.
Ha ha TJ, looks like a flying tortoise ... in a really bad mood!! Lol
Pity this had to go on bad pics but that's where it belongs lol
A chance shot of courtship feeding Treecreepers which was a first for me to see :)
