    Today we ventured out to Connah's Quay where it was almost devoid of birds and then drove on to Burton Mere RSPB to find it closed due to resurfacing works .........so continued on again towards Decca Pool area near Denhall Quay only to find it clouded over, very cool breeze  and once again nothing much too active out on the marshes apart from G.Herons and a passing Kestrel who summed up perfectly what our trip out had been   LOL

    This could have been fabulous but had to be taken, despite the partially blocked point of view, as one of my first really good sightings of a Cetti's

    Can you tell what it is yet?

    I have loads like that but luckily a few better ones, too... :)

         No guesses as to who this is with his head stuck in the mealie dish  -  looks like pigs ears with a chocolate flake stuck in the top    ha ha !!
