Old thread here: http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/chat/f/2542/t/22684.aspx
Because the original thread has, fittingly enough, 'gone bad', it's time for a new 'Bad pics' thread. Here, we celebrate the very worst of our wildlife photography. The subject matter is always brilliant, but the photos are very much not. If it's out of focus, chopped in half, frighteningly under- or over-exposed or terrible in some other way, it belongs here :)
Here's my first (first of many, no doubt) contribution to the new thread, a Goldcrest taken at Barnes yesterday. You need only minor incompetence to take a blurry photo, and the same to take a really under-exposed photo, but to do both in one go requires a special level of cackhandedness.

Lovely brambling, Hazy!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
lol Thanks Clare, it's been here for about a week but is very elusive !

I timed this one (of a Herring Gull dropping a mussel on the path round West Kirby Marine Lake) really well. Unfortunately it's disgustingly blurry.
Oy, you. What have you done with my head?

GSW got swept away in the gales today ..........lol
I rarely ever get to see a Jay. They're just magnificent in flight.!!
My bird photos HERE
lol Paul, it could go on the bottoms up thread too ! Strange you should see a Jay as we haven't had any in the garden for months and months (they used to fly in and out every day) and then today there must have been a flock of 8 in flight around the area although I only got a distant shot of one when it landed briefly in a tree. I'd put it up here if I'd have remembered to downsize it before I loaded them on to the hard-drive lol
Thanks for cheering me up on a Monday morning. It has been a laugh catching your pics and the comments.
All of us looking have taken the same shots I am sure, but we secretly delete them before anyone else see's them.
Please come up for air.
For goodness sake, can't you stay still for a second.
