Thanks folks, I will make sure he sees your kind comments, have to bolster his ego (so that I can encourage him to be 'pack mule' again when needed!!)
I have a few pics ready to post shortly but, in the meantime, there are 12 vids on YT so maybe better to post this link for you to view at your leisure https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC9ty-tWuuUo6W-iHnOmn2w/videos ... sorry, can't get the link to embed properly ... this does take you there though!
2013 photos & vids here

My first one is a query ...mental block on this lovely little creature with the hooge feets ?
Hi Wendy
A Juvenile Moorhen I believe.
Thanks S! Another first for me, yippee!
I shall begin with this lovely tree which heralds the start of Autumn
Canada Goose
Coot (love their sound)
Crow (so used to people around, although I have many at home I cannot get so close)
Egyptian Goose - so fascinating, lovely behaviour as a pair, missed some good greeting moments unfortunately
Now for the ubiquitous Grey Heron
As I found these endlessly fascinating, I have combined all the pics into a slideshow for easy viewing
A few to follow which I took with MC in mind as he couldn't be with us!
Some kind soul had thrown some food & provided me with a great pic opportunity
Spotted this unusual looking Feral & tried to capture on vid but it was rubbish! Salvaged a few still images from it
Handsome Feral in a pleasing pose
A couple for aitch too
Note the security arrangements for Cyrils using a trained perimeter guard
But this Mrs Cyril managed to get out (probably sweet-talked the Crow!) Love the strategicaly placed 'modesty leaf'
Do so love that arms across body pose
Think that's all folks ... these plus a few more will be on my Flickr & a great deal more action in my vids on YT!
I had the best of times (as you can see from all this stuff!) Was fabulous to meet you guys & we really must do it again - anywhere you like!!
fantastic selection of photos Wendy, a real treat to see them all along with the other forumites pics; I remember Regents well and hope to get back there again one day. The Cyrils always look so innocent as if they are saying " Who me ? nah, I'm not doing anything except beech nut and conker hunting" lol look forward to catching up with your Flickr. photos later :)
post edit: meant to say I love the Cyril guard. I have 25 guards in the garden but they are in league with the Cyrils so are of no use at all lol

Another little find amongst my pics
Thought my luck was in with this one
Didn't know there was a Delphinium of that name!!
One for Mrs T (sorry C, wrong spelling for you!)
For another poster in CF who I am helping with uploading vids from her trail cam
Hi All,
I didn't go out today, probably because I'm too tired from the trek around Regent's Park! Maybe tomorrow. But it gives me a chance to post some photos of the day. There are some wonderful photos already on here!
Anyway, it was great to meet everyone and I hope you all had as great a time as I did.....I would love to meet up sometime again.
It's taken a while to get on and find my way around here again and, despite a few error messages along the way, I'll try my best.
First up, one of 4 Buffleheads that were around:
Next, one of several Egyptian Geese, this one got a little too close:
A lovely Goldeneye that swam up close:
My version of one of dozens of Grey Herons that were about:
I was fascinated by a Greylag's feet:
One of my fave dragons, a Migrant Hawker:
A redhead Smew:
One of two beautiful Wheatears, the birds of the day, which I thought, at first, were Winchats!
And last, but not least, one of a pair of Whooper Swans:
Thanks to everyone for making it such a special day!
Best wishes, Graham

My Flickr!
Great pics there GC & lovely to meet up with you! The Migrant Hawker capture especially good, made me dizzy trying to get a pic & didn't succeed!! Looking at your post has just reminded me that I didn't include my shots of the Wheatear!
Lovely stuff, Wendy. You've taken some cracking photos. It was a good idea to make a slide show of the Herons. They were so tame I could hardly believe it.
Mrs Cyril is very endearing. If we can't have Red Squirrels she'll do.
I'm going to have a look at your vids now.
