and the turn of the LTT's enjoying their pastry ! On occasion we have up to a dozen coming down for the pastry, little addicts lol

Aren't they gorgeous Hazy, the sixth photo down shows what good stuff that pastry is, he/she is looking stuffed:-)
Lot to learn
Another gorgeous set of photos Hazy! I have been following your example and putting out pastry just lately and I now have a group of four long tailed tits who seem to emerge from nowhere the minute the pastry is out! Think there must be a lookout here too, like the one in your first photo!

Thanks Gaynor and Christine, the LTT's really make me laugh as they have to be the bravest birds for their miniscule size ! I was putting the pastry out this morning and whilst I was still placing it on the twigs down came the gang and one landed almost in my face LOL !! they are so funny and I love the chattering/clicking noises they do, always commuicating with one another even with mouthful of pastry !
here's the lookout guard !
Brilliant photo's Hazy, love the LTT's and your blue tits on the other thread.

Great pics. How long before Mr. Kenwood dies of exhaustion? :-)
Thanks J and Edge
@ Edge Lol !! I tell you, this mixer has already done a years service in two months; I have to make another 4 kilo batch tomorrow as the Jay and Squirrels have a habit of swiping it off the twigs before the little-'uns can get a look in. What is it about pastry and addiction ? lol
Hazel, Those LTTs are completely adorable! And your photos are great, too! Love these LTTs (and the Blue Tits on your other thread). Our LTTs are constantly being chased off by one very territorial Blue Tit, but fortunately, the LTTs keep coming back (for now at least!). Do you have a backup if your mixer gives up the ghost?! Good luck with the Macro and your Riverside Robin!
Kind regards, Ann
Thanks Ann, if the mixer gives up the ghost it will be back to my old way of making pastry in a washing up bowl lol at least I have a guarantee for a year on it !
Yes, I have managed to get some video footage and also some close up pics of Riverside Robin with the macro lens so will put them up shortly, once I've gone through the photos.
Stunning set of powder puffs!! :-)
