hi everyone, finally get back on here, we moved over to sky, so had to have new email address, and i had a slip and fell on my elbow, broke it so been in plaster now 5weeks, anyway some of you may have known me by name missbirdwatcher who has chickens, bad news we are looking to giving our ladies to a new home now:( due to mum and dad want a bungalow, we have had our hens 9months, and i was gutted to hear the news last night. so anyone interested for free taking our ladies off us, where in preston, lancashire area, so needs to be local really and i would love to be to come and visit them, i know chickens dont forget you.
Hi Gardenbirder there is another post on here from me called ladies having fun in the sun that shows more photos :) Jason i know only up motorway burnley so not too far, not slept well last night got upset before bed about chickens what im going to miss about them, then woke up through night thinking i could hear lizzy clucking lol, happy to see them this morning when i let them out 5.30am, i hate saying gdbye:(

Hi Debs, Hope you had a bit better day today! Thanks for the thread with your other hen pics; I will let you know if I ever find it--LOL! (Sorry, but my forum skills are fairly non-existent.) Maybe the forum needs a thread for photos of past and present 'pets'--much loved domesticated birds and animals and their stories!

Hi gardenbirder hopefully you will find it it was on page 2 but now probably more lol. im alot better today had sleep :) but chickens looking glum again as weather bad.
Glad to hear you got some sleep! Now we just need some summer weather--for humans and hens!
