After a serious injury left me stuck in a chair for over 2 years and forced me into retirement from my previous career as a professional martial artist and strongman, it was my interests in bird watching and painting that saved my mind and my life.
So now I’m much healed and that so many here seem also to love both art and the wonder that is Birds, I thought it would be nice to share some of my newer bits and pieces with you fine people and great artist.
Be Happy.
An interest is a major help in a situation like yours. Love the kingfisher:))
Hi Raggs
I admire you dedication in fighting back and it was good you found art and wildlife to be the winning channel. There all good but my personal favourite is the owl, but as we get parakeets nearby and I photographed my first Kingfishers this year I like them all really.
Congratulations on not giving up its a great inspiration for others.
Shane
They are brilliant Rags, thanks for sharing your experience and enthusiasm!
Hi Rags.
Glad you've come through your ordeal and have found a passion to keep you going.
The paintings are all wonderful especialy the owl.

Hello Rags. What an inspiration your experience is for others. I love them all, but the owl is my favourite. Thank you.
Thank you all for your warmth and expressions of gratitude. Painting these was wonderful and knowing others appreciate and enjoy them has been the cream on the cake.
Shane have you posted the kingfisher pic? Kingfishers are the bird that first got me into birding many moons ago :-)>
Lovely work, Rags :)
Nice work! Especially the owl :-)
particularly like the parakeets - full of character!
