normaly I start with the head first. on the 1st of December I decided to draw from a differant point first and see if my drawing comes out better than normal, same, or worser. the reason my drawing was as good as it is more realistic is cause I thought id see what happens if i aproach if a different way.
my drawing of the plover, Bullfinch, sparrow and Great Tit was done drawing the outline from the beginging of the tail to the head then doing the shape of the tummy and tail then the face last.
I didnt know what they were going to be until i drew the outline and then added general detail to it. i added the details that is caracteristic of the species I was drawing rather than just general bird details once I saw that it could be a specific species rather than just a general bird.
this one I drew at the Blood test today is a general bird for now cause I dont know what species it has the potential to become or could turn out to be
Iv decided to use some water color pencils I bought this month. they are an alternative to paint. you dip the tip in water after you have coloured in and it produces water colour. you cant do this with normal color pencils only Watercolor pencils. alternatively after you have coloured it in you can put a brush under the water then go over what you have coloured in so its like painting but without paint. iv coloured in the Kingfisher
