im working on makeing my eyes on birds or other wildlife and nature drawings more realistic and working on drawing them in 3D by how i place shapes. overlaping circles, shadows across eyes, face, body and anywhere else and by doing things like reflections and shadows and more shadeing. cause i usualy prefer drawing from my memory rather than copying and traceing im doing it by looking at my drawing from different angles and looking at the details in my drawings to see what i can improve to make it look more realistic and find ways to by looking at the shapes or where they are where could be lighter or derker and various other things so i thought id do a wildlife 3D drawings post so people can see my realistic and 3D ones and not just the eyes im doing but everything else and people can see my progress of my drawings aswell I hope you enjoy them
overal cause i like doing 3D aswell as realistic drawings working toward hopefuly making my drawing (pop out) more on this drawing I have done a shadow under its head and tail to show the tail is abouve the paper or ground and the head is lifted up off the ground slightly
I have drawn a tent, river and hilly landscape. the bird was origionaly going to be a unknown paeassine until I realised it had the potiential to be a kingfisher and therfore decided not to have a fanned out tail but a very short one and then I just made the beak exstra long and added in the details its probably my best drawing of a Kingfisher on average. I have done the Kingfishers reflection in the water along with a shadow over the waterfall and made the scene as 3D as I could
