    Maybe so but I was club recorder for over 10 years and enjoyed some interesting arguments Goshawk/Sparrowhawk was an annual favourite

    Oh yeah :)))

    I'm no longer on a County records committee but with the increase in breeding Gos nationally it's probably worse:)
    OTOH I get shown plenty of fabulous photos in the field on the back of cameras of Gos - that are Sparrowhawks:)

    Yes looking at the back of a camera in bright sunlight is more than frustrating I sometimes think it was better when people did field sketches and wrote notes on interesting sightings. It is still possible to get a record accepted without a photo but the notes need to be spot on.

    I liked them a bit- but I think Jacqui Abbott has the better voice :)
