If anybody has been drawing or painting RSPB reserves, please feel free to add them here. I will start with some wee sketches done at RSPB Mersehead, Dumfries & Galloway when we stayed there last week. Some were drawn from the hides which were extremely quiet - in fact I was usually the only person in them! (I only paint in hides when they are either empty or only have 1 or 2 other people in them e.g. my OH - I use very small sketchbooks)
water soluble wax crayons and graphic pen - from Briach Hide
done outside - water soluble wax crayons and graphic pen - across wetlands towards Sandyhills
graphic pen - done outside - Solway
from Media Hide - watercolours and graphic pen

Very nice Maggy, wish I had carried on with art after leaving school.
In reply to James:
Thank you Jim. Never too late! You should start again - I did very little for years but then started going to classes again in January. Hope we might see some of your drawings/sketches some time in the Art Club?

Some more drawings of Mersehead. Anybody else got any drawings of/from RSPB reserves?
