Hi folks. I don't have a sound file but wondered if anyone could point me to a candidate for a call that goes "Oo-eep! Oo-eep!" at nightime in rural County Durham? We're near forests, farmland and water.
Any help appreciated! Thank you!
Kirsten

How about a female Tawny Owl. Anything like this with the male answering?

Another possibility could be Oystercatcher. I hear them surprisingly often, flying over at night.

You just made me blush. LOL. Nice to get one right from a description.
