An Amazing Feet Of Deduction (Just For Fun)

Some of the feet may come from birds measured in feet, and some of the feet may come from birds measured in inches. I'm not sure how easy this will be, but if you feel like a challenge, please feel free to name the owners of the feet. As always, it’s just for fun. Good luck.

  • As Sherlock Holmes would say (or would that be extract from Shakespeare's King Henry IV Part I )  ......   the games afoot    !!!

Another excellent quiz Paul so many thanks;    to be honest I am struggling with some of the answers and had to zoom in hard to compare feet to ones in my bird books !      but from what I see I have no reason to disagree with Rob's IDs.  ..... and I know he's brilliant at IDing my bird queries.

  • 8/15. Very difficult, I know.!! Will try to think of some clues. :-)

  • Replying again partly to bump this back up the list so it's more visible.

If I'm reading correctly both myself and Bob got 8/15. As we've overlapped on 9, most of which look nailed on correct, it suggests all my other guesses are wrong (which doesn't surprise me!). 6 could well be mountain hare rather than hare, but presumably I'd have got 0.5 for hare anyway if it is? Of the rest, 12 could be sanderling? Really struggling with making anything of the rest of them.

  • Fun trying to do this Paul, I have only a few as I am not very good at feet guessing, but enjoying the feedback, thanks.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • Think we need to know which aren't correct so it limits down my googling and bird book browsing  LOL      I
