All Mixed Up (Just for Fun)

Hi people. I've thrown a few things into the gene pool and given it a bit of stir up to see what came out at the other end.!! If you feel like a bit of fun, you could maybe try to work out what species have been thrown together; maybe easy, maybe not.!! If you can come up with some new names for the mixed up birds, all the better. Like it says in the title though, it’s just for fun.

  • Hello Paul,

although I'm not good at waders and completely useless at gulls, I'm always up for some fun. So I'll give it a try, even though I might be making a fool of myself. So here we go:

1: head: Dipper    rear end: Puffin (I'm absolutely certain about the Puffin!)

2: head: Reed Bunting      rear end: Linnet

3: head: Arctic Tern or Common Tern     rear end: A juvenile Gull of some sort

4: head: Chiffchaff or Willow Warbler       rear end: Wren

5: head: Kookaburra (no mistake possible!)     rear end: Jackdaw

6: head: Ringed Plover    rear end: Pipit of some sort

This was real fun, and I'm looking forward to the guesses of other people.

Kind regards and take care! Bente
