There seem to be quite a lot of grasses with tail in their name. Apart from those already mentioned there's Hare's-tail, Sand Cat's-tail, Meadow Foxtail ets, etc.
Just to be different I'm going to suggest Hairy Finger-grass. I wouldn't want that wagged at me.
