When the song birds are not singingAnd the trees are looking bareThe hedgehogs have taken shelterWinter is in the airAll the leaves and petals have fallenAll blown awayFrom the trees and pretty flowersIt’s a very sad day.But hope is around the cornerSo do not despairFor a time they stand dormantThey have not got a care.Through the cold winds of the winterThe snow, frost and the rainThey will sleep until the springtimeThen blossom once again.
