hello, i'm wondering if someone can help and answer my questions i have 2 pigeons on my balcony nesting 2 eggs one was laid 2 days ago unsure of the time and the other was laidaround 1.30 yesterday, both mum and dad are here most of the time, i simply did an online search on incubation period and what 2 do as i grow veg on my balcony and the eggs have bin laid on my now non dwaf beans, reading online tells me 2 throw the eggs i simply couldn't wouldnt do that morally legally i know thats wrong........ so question is my veg fruit will not be safe 2 eat?????????????
I am afraid i couldn't remove the eggs anymore than i could remove a Blackbirds eggs.I would just ensure it didn't happen again.Whatever you decide Rosie good luck.

@rosie It sounds like you’re in a bit of a dilemma with the pigeons on your balcony. It’s great that you want to protect the eggs and the birds. Regarding your questions, can you clarify if you're concerned about the safety of your vegetables due to the presence of the nesting pigeons, or are you more worried about potential damage to your plants from the nesting? Also, have you considered reaching out to local wildlife organizations for advice on how to handle the situation while ensuring both your gardening and the pigeons' safety? Sprunki
