Hi there,
I have just started a RSPB membership. When I joined I selected single membership which said 1-2 members. I got the impression that this meant 2 adults from the same household can use the card for entry. However, I can’t see this written anywhere, and I am confused to receive a second card for a single use only? Have I misunderstood what I have signed up for? I can’t find anything on the RSPB website or in my pack or any terms and conditions anywhere? Can anyone clarify if I can use my card for both of us? I’m confused!! Thanks everyone!
This is more details.
Regards,
Ian.

Hi Ian,
Thanks but when I joined there was only an option for 1-2 adults or family? I picked 1-2 adults…Where can I view the detail you have shared?
Thanks!
Gill
There’s no joint membership in the pdf. Hence my confusion! Maybe I should have picked family?
Hi,
I’ve just gone through the membership as if I am joining again and it looks like i missed a step as theres an option to increase the number of adults to 2, which I must have missed!! I’ll give them a call tomorrow to see if I can get a second adult added on.
Watching with interest, as I have never been aware of single membership being for more than one individual.
Hi, you can have 2 members at the same address on the single membership. I must have missed the step to add my husband. I have just called and they have added him to my membership for the same monthly price. User error on my side I think!
Thanks for the update. I will contact them next month when my individual membership expires. I don’t know if this has changed this year or recent years as I have just auto renewed every year. Seems ridiculous to continue calling it individual membership if it is for individual postal addresses rather than individual people. Thanks again.
I have had a spare few minutes to actually look into this. I don't see any 'single membership', or 'individual membership'. I also don't see 'dual membership'. Pretending to be a new member, I'm selecting, 'adult membership'. That is for 1-2 adults at the same address. Makes more sense. As above, not sure how long that has been in existence.
Probably a massive saving given the numbers involved, in both financial and environmental impact due to plastic usage.
