So I have blackbirds nesting right next to my back door in my log store I’m scared to frighten them away there’s 4 eggs in there mum seems happy just need advice on what to do and not do as it’s so close to my back door we have chickens etc so the garden is a safe haven
HI, mum has been comfortable to build there, if there's access out and in for when the chicks hatch, and no predators about that can get to the nest, hopefully all should be okay. The main thing now is to keep away, don't go near the nest, leave them to get on with doing what they do, otherwise she may abandon the nest.

Hi thanks yeah it’s a very safe environment in our yard and we have a big dog so foxes and cats don’t venture in the yard and he’s bird and livestock neautral too so they’re probably in the safest place they could ever be
