Hello, new here, thought I would give it a try....as I tend to bore most uninterested people with my (amateur) blathering about birds (amongst other things!) . Enjoying learning more about our feathered friends as I endeavour to live in harmony with nature, living rurally on the Welsh border, amongst forests and fields. Enjoy watching the Red Kites flying over. Here we also have lots of Buzzards, Owls, Ravens, a Woodpecker which comes to my feeder, Nuthatches, Treecreepers, a posse of Long Tailed Tits in the pear trees and Hedgerows, to name a few, ..oh and the odd Pheasant! Looking forward to reading about everyone's adventures and observations!
Welcome aboard fae me in Central Scotland. We love talking about all things birds and wildlife on here so you won't ever bore us. Oh we also love looking at others photos aswell.
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Thanks Linda, nice to meet you, thanks for the welcome, that's very good to know! I will try put some photos on at some point, no doubt! I'll take a look around the site and try get a better feel of it.
Well if you need any help just give us a shout, it can be a bit quiet at times so hope that won't put you off
Thanks very much. It probably wont, being quite quiet myself.

Hi PimperneBloke, indeed it is, know quite a few folk from Dorset, good to 'meet' you!
Hi OATM,,welcome from me, up in Caithness, at the very top of Scotland, we are at opposite ends of the mainland. Enjoy here, we are a good lot, mad at times. Lots to see and read and always help at hand. Look forward to any photos.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Hello OATM and a warm welcome from me too; sounds like you live in a scenic area with forests and fields around your area and look forward to hearing more about your sightings in future posts,

Hi Catlady, thanks so much. Wow, you are high up there! I bet you see some amazing birds there. (I'm certainly not normal, so 'good but a bit mad at times' definitely suits me! ).
Hi, thanks Hazy, yes it is, I am blessed, it is beautiful here. It is also a Conservation area, so not much has changed for hundreds of years.
