Hi, Trying to Id a bird saw today in scrub alongside a reservoir. Approx size of a chaffinch but slighter more slender. Warbler general colouring but had a broad yellow stripe over eye and a distinctive brown cap. (like female blackcap but cap not as large).Its back was clearly streaked black and brown. Any ideas ? Thanks
