Osprey sighting

Hi,

In the field? Do you mean the bird is on the ground looking for worms? If so, it will be a pale buzzard. Some can appear quite white.

No it was in a tree and definitely an Osprey

Ok thanks. There are more about now, but the county recorder will be interested, esp for locations that aren’t typical osprey. If you could forward a photo to the county recorder, whichever side of the boundary you are on, they will be happy to take a look and record.
