Have five IR cameras that i leave out in the garden Four of them for six days at a time. Is pretty time consuming going through the videos and keeping some for the final cut. Each camera can have nearly 200 clips. But this is what i do. This is the video for January. I do one video a month in the MY Garden Wildlife category.

Hi Mike B. Many thanks for taking the time to look. Can be time consuming sorting it all out. Have now a system in place that cuts it down. Longest time is going through what can be hundreds of videos to save just a few. I leave the cameras out for around six days at a time.

I aim to download the footage every couple of days. It is also good to monitor unwanted attention in the garden, particularly as I have neighbours either side that don't look after their gardens, which are a haven for rodents. This time of year we often have to remove the feeders for a couple of weeks, and things settle down.

April was a pretty good month in the garden. There is one bird that could be a juvenile but not sure what it is. Am thinking robin or dunnock. I did set all the cameras to 4K just to see if there is much difference. But looking in youtubes settings HD is the highest setting for this video. So will revert back to high quality HD.
Nice video William, starlings (and sparrows) + birdbath = endless entertainment lol. You get a similar variety to us in the garden, except for the rook (we get occasional jackdaw) and the gull, and the night time visitors (we're mid row town house with 10' high walls all around so no through route). Your weather looked as wet and windy as ours was too!
Thanks for taking the time to edit and upload :o)
Hi PimperneBloke, many thanks for taking the time to look. Weather wise April was pretty awful for getting out and about. At least with the garden cameras, they have their own little house that I put them in so keeps the worse of the weather off them. Get the occasional rook this time of year collecting food for their young. There is a rookery close by.
Great video William, I like to see the hedgehogs
Thank you SM.
A nice collection of species in that clip. What better than a hoggie to start with, and those starlings.....
I don't see much change in the weather trend for May either......
Thank you Mike B. can always rely on the garden cameras whatever the weather.
May was quite a good month for the wildlife in the garden, though am getting less visits from the hedgehogs. But bird wise has been very good with plenty to see. Two birds came in that don't see there very often. All in all, a very good month.
