Have five IR cameras that i leave out in the garden Four of them for six days at a time. Is pretty time consuming going through the videos and keeping some for the final cut. Each camera can have nearly 200 clips. But this is what i do. This is the video for January. I do one video a month in the MY Garden Wildlife category.

Thank you Mike, don't know how much longer the hedgehogs will be visiting. The juveniles tend to stay out longer, and sometimes most of the winter. That is my experience.

I've noticed similar with the juvenile hoggies, even observing one at night I think back in Jan or Feb this year. It seemed healthy enough, no signs of lethargy as it scuttled around for food.
Incidentally, hedgehogs don't actually hibernate, the basically sleep longer to conserve energy, and will come out to feed if necessary. I have more info on the hedgehog hibernation somewhere, I'll have a look this afternoon and share the link.

Hi folks, it is that time again for the next video. October was a pretty good month with the bb`s coming back after the moult. There is a prickly`s nest in a not much used enclosed feeder, that came as a surprise. Mum and two babies. The smallest bird visited the hanging feeder a couple of times looking for food. So not a bad month.
A lovely variety of wildlife on that video clip including late night robin, hoggies and wood-mouse ? Wren made me laugh when it couldn't find what it was looking for, maybe hoped for a stray mealworm in the dish !! Thanks for your efforts to share this video clip.

Nice compilation William. Your Hedgehogs are doing well, we have not seen any in our garden for a couple of months now... You have a good assortment of wildlife
Thank you Hazel, will get some mini mealworms sometime in November to add some protein to the food.
Thank you Snappy, is great when I bring in the cameras to have a look. Sometimes throws up a nice surprise.
