Do goshawks move away from where their nests are ie stay in the same forest or do they move away?
A lot may depend on wether there is much disturbance in the forest. These secretive raptors can soon be spooked if there is too much interest shown in the area. If it is quiet and has a good food supply they may well stay in the same area.
