We live in Dorset and have just seen a group of 5 birds catching insects on the wing, they were smaller that a turtle dove, but about 2-3 times bigger than a swallow, the sun was catching the colour on them and it seemed to be a red colour all over the underneath, they were swooping and gliding, we know a lot of birds, but could not identify these, it was about 7.00pm today
Any ideas?
