I’ve had a bird box this year that has seen 3 great tits fledge last week (hatched at Easter weekend) however the last 2 I noticed got tangled together in some way on Monday around their claws. The smaller of the 2 died last night and the last one clearly was trying to leave the box today but can’t because it’s still entangled with the other one. Parents are still returning to feed during the day but it’s nearly a month old now and I’m concerned will not now manage to leave the box. Any advice?
