For over a week now, this bird has been spending its entire days completely alone perched on a street lamp and stomping for worms in the grass. It flies away at night but comes back every day without fail.We are 14.5km from the coast so we wonder whether this bird is lost and why it is alone.Should it be reported to the RSPB?
Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
