Cuckoos in North Wales

We were treated to the sound, and brief sight, of cuckoos (at least two) during a circular walk from Sychnant Pass yesterday. A rare and wonderful addition to our day out. Just beautiful.

  • How lovely to hear and see cuckoos which are a bit of a rarity these days with fewer numbers. Well spotted.

I know Sychnant Pass, the surrounding hills and woodland very well, and it is a nice sight to see, and sound to hear. The area is still very good for nature, and thankfully not yet spoilt, and I hope it stays that way.

Once Covid19 has settled sufficiently, I hope to return there, I've family just the otherside of the Conwy Estuary, and a nice short distance from the Conwy reserve, which I'm missing my visits to.
