While walking around the nature part of Bluewater, I came across a cormorant and a heron. There's actually two but I could only get close enough to one of them. I had to get down low and move back some branches to take this. I say it is unusual in the sense I wasn't expecting to find them in such a built up area and didn't think there was enough for them to eat but I suspect they are hanging around in the hope of snapping up some eggs? it is that time of year afterall.
