For the last few years we've had two nest boxes active with blue tits in one and Great tits in the other. Not seen many of them over the last few weeks and the boxes are still empty. They usually have started their nests by now.
There's a nest being made in our outside letter box again by Robins though. I've bought a new outside letter box and taped up the Robin letter box.
Hope it's the cooler British weather that has slowed up the tits. I've got cameras in both boxes this year. Hopefully they'll arrive soon. Anyone else noticed the birds slow with their nest building?
