Replacing a Tawny owl box

Hello all

About 10 years ago we put up a Tawny Owl box in the garden. For the first 7 or 8 years it was used by Jackdaws and squirrels. Then last year and again this year it was used by Tawny Owls who successfully reared a couple of chicks per year. The box is now in desperate need of replacement as the roof has gone and the floor is threatening to fall out. The new box is identical to the old one (apart from it now having a roof again) and it will be in the same location. Is there anything else I can do to maximise the chances of owls returning rather than the previous residents?

Any advice gratefully received.
