Didn't get a sighting but very unusual birdsong, definitely like a child's/pet's squeaky toy. Heard for a good 5 minutes.
It was absolutely the call of a brown headed nuthatch but this seems extraordinarily unlikely? (Kent)
Anyone have any alternative ideas?
