Hi a week ago me and my boyfriend rescued a young pigeon I'd say around 3 weeks old has all his feathers from the side of the road so we took her/him in because he didn't look to good and he wasn't eating at first but we fed him/her some corn and peas and force fed him and now he takes them from my fingers and sometimes my hand he doesn't yet know how to drink water and when we first had him his poo was green and runny now it seems a bit harder with white he sleeps a lot and his eyes go hard and crust over so I have been bathing them with warm water so he can open them and it softens and I clean the yellow this discharge out one eye seems okay but by the morning when he wakes up there the same until I can get some saline flush I think it's called I just want to know if he is going to be okay and he seems to be growing does this mean he will survive and how can I help his eyes and get him to have more energy
