Hi, we have a nest box camera and today had the wonderful sight of 4 fledglings leaving the box. Mum and Dad have done a great job! There is a “runt” still in the box (perhaps a day away or so from fledging too). There is also a small dead chick in the next which has remained for 36 hours or so. Should I open the box and remove it? Mum/Dad appear to be occasionally returning to the remaining chick but I am concerned about flies etc being attracted by the dead chick? Any thoughts or guidance would be welcomed. Many thanks
