Dear all,

I went to the RSPB reserve 'Dove Stone' and I saw a bird that I couldn't identify. I think it is a common sandpiper, but I am not 100% sure.

You're spot on, Mark. The white"hook" where the wing meets the body is a key ID feature and helps to separate it from the somewhat similar looking Green Sandpiper. Nice shot.
