I was delivering fliers for a friend and I noticed that in one back garden there was a cage with several jackdaws in it. Is this illegal?
Hi istanbulandy, sounds as what you refer to could be a larsen trap which are sometimes used to control numbers of corvids such as magpies, jackdaws, crows, etc., It is a very emotive issue with many people against it but as long as strict guidelines are adhered to.then in many cases it is legal under General Licence. I am not an expert on the use of them so you would have to google the laws/guidelines regarding the use of Larson Traps. HERE is some information.
