Many of us on here had problems sending our results this year. A reply from the moderators was that there was a new way of doing it this year, so everyone had to do the same regardless of what had been done in previous years. I like most eventually got them submitted. Hopefully next year will be easier and all okay!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I think I must have been one of the lucky ones. My results were posted first time and without any problems.

I’ve just registered and signed in and have now given up as it is impossible to even find where the birdwatch page is let alone enter sightings. What an utterly stupid state of affairs to bleat on about how important it is that everyone takes part and then make it impossible to actually do so. That’s me gone and rap in the spam section forever. Idiots
You submit results from this page. https://www.rspb.org.uk/whats-happening/big-garden-birdwatch There is a green box near the top, "submit your results".
Regards,
Ian.
There is no evidence of problems this year. I haven’t seen anything on social media or here. Numbers are also consistently rising, suggesting all is ok. I think the example in this thread is user error.
Fair enough. We’re just dumb users I guess. My wife has done this every year and she couldn’t do it today. I tried by registering, signing in etc but was stumped first time trying and the last. Can’t un-register now so shall have to spam rspb from now on. I wonder how many more have done the same and just not bothered to message a complaint. But, you’re numbers are up so you must be doing great. Complacent or what!
I am sorry, but it clearly stated, and still does, that "logging into your account is unavailable this year". It really was as straight forward as, www.rspb.org.uk -> Big Garden Bird Watch "Get counting" -> "Submit your results". Clearly, people followed these simplified procedures. Unlike previous years, which were plagued with issues, it's all been simplified. There is no 'signing in', 'enter county' etc etc if following the process. If a tiny number of people still can't follow that, there is a great risk some of their counts wouldn't have followed the 'rules of the count' so are better off not recorded anyway.
As for spamming RSPB, sounds like a recipe wasting more of your time than theirs, but if it helps....
Have to say I agree it was much more straight forward this time and found it so much easier this year submitting my results via the "green button: and not having to go through the rigmarole of register/log in to account which caused so many problems in the past.

Agreed. I really don't think RSPB could have done anymore in terms of the process or documentation towards it.
