I don't know if you can advice. Wood pigeon has been sitting on wall for 4 hours. He hasn't moved at all he's awake and looks at me when I talk to him I can't see any injury is this normal is there anything I can do?

Woodies do often stay put for long periods of time. 4 hours seems a lot. Unless you can see an obvious injury or it's showing signs of distress then leave it be. It could be that its mate has gone missing and it's waiting for him/her to reappear.
