Since putting my bird table up at the begging of spring last year I had a few tits and finches visit my table however once summer came it was overwhelmed with jack daws now I struggle to get any feeding, what can I do ?
Hello Harry and welcome from me up in the very far north of Scotland, in Caithness. The birds will come if you have feeders and food. As Alan says sunflower hearts are a favourite. The birds are making more of an appearance now again. Some trees, shrubs and bushes are good as they like to have somewhere to flit back and forth to, to get out of danger and also the tits like to take food to branches and eat. Maybe as you say try some feeders in a different part of the garden and in March time plant some shrubs then. Good luck.
That’s great advice thankyou
