Long eared owl or Eurasian eagle owl

  This is a very old post. Owl identified correctly by several people back in 2016. Just out of interest, what in the photo suggests it is an eagle owl?

  The face of the owl looked pale, I thought that was commonly found in eagle owls, but i did a bit more digging in the photo, It turns out, I think I was wrong. This is a Long eared owl, It's just t hat on the RSPB Website, when I saw the Long eared owl profile, It looked orange. So I thought that was found in all Long eared owls until now, (lol i just searched up a long eared owl face)
