Duck nesting in garden

I have a duck nesting a clutch of eggs in my back garden, and I’m after some advice please. I don’t have a pond but there are numerous water sites nearby within 0.25 miles. Trouble is, access to all water sites will run a gauntlet of roadways and traffic. If and when the eggs hatch, should I stay away and simply let nature take its course, or intervene and try to move them safely to the nearest water site ? Are there any agencies I could contact that might be best placed to assist ?
