Pigeon issue solution - advice please.

Hi,

Our house backs onto a park in East London and we get lovely small birds .

However the seeds etc also attracts pigeons.

My question is:

Will a decoy owl put off pigeons?

But will it also scare away the small birds?

Any ideas?

    Try hanging feeders, look at what you are feeding and make sure that there is low corn/wheat content - have look at guardian feeders - they are used to try and stop squirrels and larger birds accessing food. You can try an owl but I think pidges soon clock they aren't moving

    We have all birds come to our table. They seem to take turns, but I also have put a hanging feeder... too small for pigeons underneath the table so that they don't eat all the food (greedy pigions)

    NOT HAD TOO MUCH PROBLEM WITH PIGEONS BUT MOSTLY THEY CLEAR UP ALL THE FALLEN SEED. NOTHING LEFT LYING AROUND TO ATTRACT RATS AND MICE FOR INSTANCE. WillieK
