That stuff was just speculation about what might have happened, I don't think anyone has seen anything concrete from an official source explaining exactly what has happened. Mind you, I don't think we ever will if this forum runs true to form.

None of what was on the original thread was posted by anyone in an official capacity - the explanations about what may or may not have happened were all theoretical. Itsadunnocks comment just before made it sound like he/she had seen an official response stating what had happened.

Robbo said that its a dunnock. And she said it’s not a dunnock to both me and him. Cause she said she saw some orange I asked if she could give some information of any other things she observed off camara if she had. To help more. Then robbo said to report if its abnormal feather colouration cause she said it might be that or something else
I sent her picture but zoomed in to help with illustration on my message and said I hope you don’t mind and if you do mind I will deleate it off the message. I zoomed in her picture to try and help More with I’d.

At the moment I’m trying to work out why it was aimed at Robbo and come with ideas of who we think might of deleated his or her acount and why. but what we do know is that Robbos acount has been deleated. You can’t find his profile all his comments are gone and if you go on email notifications and click on his name it will say error. I tryed to copy the link but I couldn’t copy and paste it so I was just trying to guide you to the link. the link no longer works though cause the owners account has been deleated aswell

For other forums aswell as this one At first me and Robbos comments were deleated if I commented on any posts that he had already commented on or ones that he’s just commented on that are in reply to him. But in my case sometimes it was also on the same forum Only aimed at the owner on the same forum as Robbo As well as in reply to him. In the evening the owner of the Dunnock post was thinking of deleateing her account and didn’t want to have to give a moral lecture why. The next day in the morning (all) his comments were deleated. the account hadn’t deleated yet so people were able to see what’s on the link when Linda sent it. I let people know if the link Stops working it’s just cause the owner deleated the account and so won’t be gremlins. So some of Robbos comments were deleated first including mine if I replied to him. And then the next day all the comments were deleated completely And then The next day - yesterday the owners account got taken down so it says error if you click on it. Robbos account was in the process of being taken down before the owner of the Dunnock account deleated het or his account. Robbos account was officially taken down the day after his comments were deleated And then the owner deleated his or her account Yesterday. I can’t say the owners acount and Robbos being deleated has to do with his acount being deleated cause im not sure cause it might not necessarily be connected. So I Can’t say the owners disagreement with Robbo or the owner deleating there acount after has anything to do with Robbos acount being deleated. But the point is that like Linda said it didn’t happen all at once. This is the order that Robbos acount was deleated and just thought I will let you know the way it was deleated. It defiantly wasn’t all at once thats for sure.
That’s the process that took place before Robbos acount was taken down. I think His comments were deleated cause his acount was in the process of being taken down at the time. The thing is The acount was deleated The day after his and my comments were getting deleated and it was around the time after he commented on the Dunnock forum. But it was on any the forums he commented on aswell
I am mindful of the fact almost no one comes on here to find out what happened to Robbo. However, I'll respond to the points in the two posts that have been raised, incl this post. Almost all of the deleted thread contained the same factual content as referred to above. The only 'possible speculation' is as follows:- 1) One of two people complained about Robbo 2) Moderator deleted Robbo, incl his posts and every other entry on the system. The facts, starting with the second bit of potential speculation. Robbo disappeared in instalments over the weekend. Not just posts, not just additions to threads deleted on request of another user, not because he clicked on a link. To delete comments on people's photo galleries, replies to other people's posts, comments on staff and other user blogs, deleting created posts etc has to be done with moderator access. Not a virus. Not another forum user. Re one of two complaining, more close to speculation, but quickly thinking through recent posts......assuming a moderator wouldn't be actioning something due to comments made in 2021 and before.....unless someone was offended at Robbo typing 'chiffchaff' to a recent identify this, or typing a thread about growing sunflowers for human consumption rather than for birds and importing sunflower oil instead, then it is hard to imagine a source of offence other than in posts involving one of the two previously referred to individuals. Yes, it could be a moderator doing something off their own back, again arbitrarily, but that is not following procedures and makes no sense as mods don't respond quickly to spam flagged to them, so why respond to stuff not flagged to them? Robbo showed his age by commenting of Flock of Seagulls recently. I am sure he couldn't care who raised what. What he would care about is a rogue moderator not knowing what they are supposed to be doing, and risking losing society membership. It is also not right that whoever, if anyone, flagged Robbo as abusive, that the moderator then deleted everything. The moderator should be able to assess and if necessary discuss with the offending user first......unless it is clearly spam or abuse.
e.g. If I took offence that BobsRetired always takes better photos than me, and flag a post as abuse, I would hope Bob isn't then completely deleted.
Cause I dont know for sure I don’t want to say drfanatly yes or defanatly no but it is possibility. As Robbo said its on a large scale not a small one cause All the posts even ones that go all the way back to 2000s he made. got deleated. his comments were getting deleated every time he commented to someone on a post aswell. In the evening almost all his comments he made previously on forums that were left in random parts of the forum that hadn’t got deleated yet. got deleated later on that day. There was only a few comments left randomly on a few of the most recent forums that day. The day after all his comments were gone completely from forums he commented on. It was the next day his account got deleated
