Sorry. I meant that if the forum gets deleated I don’t think it is gremlins cause the owner of the Dunnock forum would of just deleated there account. Just in case anyone wonders why it no longer works if the forum does gets deleated

An ordinary member can only delete material that they have posted or flag other people's comments and postings as Spam. To get Spam deleted enough people have to report something so that a posting or comment gets automatically deleted. Sensible software would not allow one person to report something as Spam several times but we ado know how flaky this software is as that would be about the only way one person could get another person's material deleted.
I have only just joined so can only guess.......it sounds, based on what you have all written above, to have been a moderator responding to a complaint. I would also suspect they did so without discussing with Robbo as, again based on what has been written, he appeared to have been none the wiser. I'd have thought the moderator wasn't following procedures, which is a shame.
